Together with the Church and its partners in mission, the World Mission Prayer League seeks to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s fresh initiative in our world today. Prayer League members continue to pray that the Lord of the harvest would send forth workers, and that the Lord himself would sustain and uphold them. (Handbook, 11)
The World Mission Prayer League is at work in twenty countries around the world, from the rugged plains of Central Asia to the slums of urban Nairobi — and many points between. We have prayer and administrative offices in Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Seattle, Gettysburg, and Camrose, Alberta.

Bangladesh
Here we partner in the operation of the LAMB Medical Project, as well as leadership development and media ministries.
Bolivia
Our Associate Director for Latin America makes his office in La Paz. We work as well in radio, leadership development, and missionary mobilization.
Buryatia
We are hard at work in a radio/partnership in service to the church and its ministries across the country.
Ecuador
Our partners in Ecuador include the Interamerican Bilingual School, Paz y Esperanza in Guayaquil, and discipleship and medical work.
Eritrea
In Eritrea we participate in the life of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Eritrea.
India
Our partners in India include the Northwest Gossner Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Jharkhand.
Kenya
In Kenya we serve the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenya, from Samburu Disctrict in the north to urban Nairobi.
Mexico
Here we partner in the life and ministry of the Aposotlic Lutheran Alliance of Mexico (AALM).
Mongolia
The church in Mongolia is growing like nowhere else in the world. We cooperate in the ministries of Joint Christian Services.
Nepal
Our parnters in Nepal include the United Mission to Nepal and Peace Rehabilitation Centre, working to rescue children from South Asia’s sex industry.
Pakistan
In Pakistan, we cooperate in the ministries of the Church of Pakistan, and its Peshawar Diocese in particular.
Peru
Our work in Peru dates to 1985. Today we cooperate in the life and ministries of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Chiclayo, along the northern coast.
Philippines
In the Philippines, we cooperate in the ministries of SIM International, with particular emphasis on the southern islands.
Romania
Our parnter in Romania is Open Door Medical Ministries, which centers its work in Bucharest.
South Sudan
South Sudan is the newest country on earth. We partner with SIM International and the national church in the task of building the nation — and making disciples.
