August Financial Update (short allowance)

In August we were not able to pay full allowances to all of our missionaries. The general fund was $20,092 short of what was needed to pay full allowances. We used $1,774 from the estate fund in order to increase the minimum allowance paid to 65 percent of the target allowance. 31 of our missionary units received 65 percent of the target allowance. 16 units received full allowance and four missionary units were in between the high and low.

In June we were able to pay full allowances to all of our missionaries for the eigth consecutive month. The general fund was left with a balance of $18,009. Thank you for your generous support.

In May we were able to pay full allowances to all of our missionaries for the seventh consecutive month. The general fund was left with a balance of $50,203. Thank you for your generous support.

Can I support a particular missionary?

Donors may choose to support a particular worker within our community. We believe that their most significant support is prayer; donors may visit a worker's website or blog for up-to-date suggestions for prayer support. Through prayer, donors and workers become partners in ministry.

Donors may choose to support materially, as well. They may want to designate their support for a worker's:

Support Fund
Work Fund
Travel Fund
Children's Education Fund, etc.

Send your check to our street address in Minneapolis or Camrose. Be sure to designate your contribution clearly � for the worker and fund you wish to support. You will be happy to know that the Prayer League honors your designation carefully, and will not deduct a penny for administrative or other purposes.

In April we were able to pay full allowances to all of our missionaries for the sixth consecutive month. The general fund was left with a balance of $80,650. We are all very encouraged and grateful for God�s supply. Thank you for your generous support.
