The Interamerican Bilingual School, of Cuenca, Ecuador, celebrates this month its golden anniversary. The school was founded in 1959. This year marks fifty years since the “Bilingüe” received its first students.
At work for half a century, the Bilingual school has served many thousands of students — with a quality education in the name and the Spirit of Jesus. At present the school served more than 1400 students in grades K through 12.
Last Saturday, April 18, a parade was held in downtown Cuenca, from the Parque Calderón in the center of town, down Avenida Solano to the school. More than a thousand joined the parade.
Fifty years! — there is very much to celebrate. Please join our friends in celebration of God’s grace and faithfulness through these many years. And join us in prayer for God’s ongoing provision into the future.
