Debby H.

Debby felt God’s call on her life at the age of 11, to pursue missions. While attending Lutheran Deaconess Nursing School, learned of a scholarship to go to a mission hospital in Asia. She worked as an operating room nurse there from 1973-1975. She has now been a nurse for 48 years, working in multiple clinic locations and nursing positions near home and abroad. Together with her husband Steve, they raised 3 children, and now have 14 grandchildren. Starting in 2004-2008 bringing short-term healthcare teams to serve in rural primary schools, in Asia, teaching hygiene, and providing health assessments for children.

Together with Steve, they served in the Far East from 2008-2013. Debby taught Nursing and Medical English. In 2013 she helped to start a Nursing school on a University campus. Debby is returning to serve as an Associate to support healthcare needs here at home and abroad. Remembering Steve now passed.
