Joel & Lea met in Bangladesh almost 30 years ago. Joel teaches Bible, provides pastoral care, and equips congregations and leaders to reach out to their neighbors with the Good News. A reading room where all people can read newspapers and books and discuss spiritual topics in a safe environment is a prime example of his passion for one-on-one discipleship.
Lea serves at Lutheran Aid to Medicine in Bangladesh (LAMB) and is dedicated to improving the health of mothers and children. She advocates for nurses and midwives throughout the region (via Nurses Christian Fellowship), and equips them to be competent and compassionate caregivers.
