We will apply our prayers and resources, in particular, along the frontier of the unreached – those peoples among whom an indigenous, missional, church-planting movement has yet to be established. We will apply ourselves further, as much as possible, along the frontier of limited access – unreached peoples among whom few global workers are serving, or traditional workers cannot go.
Handbook ¶21a
The World Mission Prayer League envisions that populations with limited or no access to the gospel experience the love of Christ.
May these Peoples be prayed for by Christians sent to live and serve among them and by Christians globally. And may they be loved and served in a way that reflects the love of Christ. We envision such peoples forming relationships with followers of Jesus Christ, hearing the Law and Gospel proclaimed, and having opportunity to repent and receive salvation. It is our aim that they form self-sustaining, disciple-making communities of faith, wherein they regularly receive the means of grace.
For more than 80 years members of this community have prayed for and lived among frontier populations with the vision that God be glorified and these peoples participate in his Kingdom. Pray for those peoples with limited or no access to the gospel, and for those reaching out to them in Jesus’ name.
