This is a special short-term opportunity for learning and outreach among one of the largest unreached people groups in the world. The one-semester program will be held in a city in the Arabian Gulf that is home to thousands of migrants from this people group. The course will run from January 23 – May 19, 2017, with a focus on
- guided language learning
- cultural appreciation
- ministry mentoring
Typical days will include about 3 hours of classroom time and about the same time out in the community. So the emphasis will be on face time with the people. There is a fee for the program, but scholarships may be available for needy students. An initial deposit is due on December 1, 2016.
It is possible that this could develop directly into a long-term opportunity.
