As a community at prayer, committed to seeing the nations reached and mobilized, we aim to obey Christ’s basic commands – chief among them, to seek first his Kingdom. Time after time, God proves that he is faithful to meet our needs. At WMPL, we strongly resonate with pioneering missionary J. Hudson Taylor’s words, “Depend on it. God’s work done in God’s way will never lack God’s supply.”
We are pleased to report that all of our workers were fully funded in June. This is a testimony to the goodness of God and your generosity as donors and prayer supporters. Through your acts of faith, all of our workers continue to serve in their appointed places, living and sharing the gospel message, building up the Church and their communities, and sharing the love of Christ around the world.
It is a joy to celebrate God’s faithfulness to his promises. But we also want to acknowledge the way that God’s provision comes through you. Through your love for the gospel, intentional giving, consistent prayer, and heart for the nations, you have participated in the advance of God’s Kingdom. You are sending workers to unreached people groups. You are equipping leaders in global churches. You are lifting up the name of Jesus in word and deed across cultures and continents. God is fulfilling the Great Commission through people like you.
We are committed to stewarding your gifts with utmost care. Each year, our organization undergoes an independent audit by an outside accounting firm. This process ensures our resources are being stewarded with integrity, applied according to our policies and board limitations, and used the way our donors intend. We strive for transparency and accountability in every area of spending, not just because it is best practice, but because it is part of our worship to steward God’s provision wisely. Our 2024 audit will be ready for review at our Annual Business Meeting on Sunday, October 12.
